 Out of the Darkness Walk | October 1st
When you participate in the Out of the Darkness Walks, you join the effort with hundreds of thousands of people nationwide to raise awareness and funds that allow AFSP to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss. 

Tentative date is Saturday, October 15th from 9am-1pm

Nosh for Non-Violence  | October 27th for DINNER
Nosh4Nonviolence is a collaborative fundraiser for three local domestic violence intervention agencies, Call to Safety (formerly the Portland Women’s Crisis Line – PWCL), West Women & Children’s Shelter and Bradley Angle House who is the third charity joining Nosh 4 Nonviolence this year!  The event mobilizes restaurants willing to donate proceeds from one day of business directly to services for survivors. The event is in its seventh year, and our supporters are eager to participate again in 2016!

Connecting for Good Tour at the Oregon Food Bank & Kennedy School After Party
Tuesday, November 1st 6PM-8:30PM

This event is organized by the Portland New Generations Club and the Rotary Connecting for Good Tour.  There will likely be happy hour and socializing after the service project at the Kennedy School near the Oregon Food Bank.  They are hoping to have 40 volunteers from Rotary and Rotaract clubs all over Portland sign up, let’s help them reach their goal!  There’s a sign up on the Oregon Food Bank’s website as well as a Facebook event.
